E-commerce & DTC

Traffic gets pricier every quarter. Know where every order came from.

From the ad click to the repeat order: which channels bring buyers, where checkout leaks, which products get viewed but not bought, and which customers come back.

  • GMV, AOV and repeat rate
  • Checkout funnel out of the box
  • Conversions sent back to ad platforms
Where growth leaks

Where e-commerce growth leaks

01

Ad platforms over-claim

Meta, Google and TikTok each take credit for the same order, so ROAS looks better than your bank account.

02

Checkout loses people quietly

Carts fill up, payments don’t. Without the step-by-step funnel, nobody knows whether it is shipping, coupons or the payment form.

03

Repeat buyers are invisible

New-customer acquisition gets all the attention; the customers who come back — and why — rarely show up in reports.

Three questions every store answers here

Each one uses features you already have once the template is installed.

01

Which channels bring buyers, not just clicks?

Ad clicks are recognised from their click IDs and joined to orders, so every channel shows revenue and ROI — and conversions go back to the ad platforms.

  • Revenue and ROI per channel
  • Four attribution models side by side
  • Conversions sent back to 8 ad platforms
02

Where does checkout lose people?

The purchase funnel marks the biggest drop. Break it down by device and source, then watch the replays behind it.

  • Product view, cart, checkout, payment
  • Breakdown by device, source and country
  • Replays and heatmaps on the leaking step
ClueMobile checkout loses 2× more people than desktop
03

Who buys again — and when?

Repeat-purchase retention, time between orders and LTV by first channel tell you who to win back and what they are worth.

  • Retention after the first order
  • Order count distribution per customer
  • LTV by acquisition cohort

FAQ

E-commerce questions

Anything else — open the chat in the corner and ask.

Does it work with Shopify, WooCommerce and custom stores?
Yes. Add the snippet for browsing data, and send purchase and refund events from your server or store backend for accurate revenue.
Why should purchases be sent from the server?
Browser events can be blocked or lost when a payment page redirects. Server-side purchases with the order number as the dedupe key keep revenue exact.
Can I see product-level performance?
Yes. Send item_id and category with your events and break down any report by product or category.
Can PathClue send conversions to Meta and Google?
Yes. When a recognised ad click turns into a purchase, the conversion can be sent back server-to-server to Google Ads, Meta, TikTok and five other platforms.
